Are you ready for Virtualphaze?

One of the cool things about running a virtual event is: we have access to monster and NPC types not usually availabe to us (because we can’t build costumes or puppets that are cool enough). So, we’re packing this event with some of these creature types that are never (or almost never) seen on our live event trails!

While we’re busy at work prepping the encounter notes, and getting our judges ready to run an event on the Roll20 platform, we have a question for you. Are YOU ready to play?

Here’s a readiness checklist for the event:

  • Register at interphaze.org/registration (or by clicking below)
  • Submit your character updates as normal for an Interphaze event
  • While logged in to your Interphaze account, click on “My User Page” and make sure you can see your documents folder (it will have a name similar to “Your Name Shared”
  • If you don’t see the folder, send us a quick email letting us know. This folder will (eventually) contain your passport and spell updates (if applicable) for this event.
  • Sign up for a Roll20.net account at their website
  • Go through the Roll20.net tutorial to learn the basics of using their software (HIGHLY recommended)

The registration window ends on MAY 17, so make sure to get yourself registered ASAP!

Thanks! I, and all the team putting this together, are looking forward to being able to play together using technology to beat the COVID-19 puzzle.

EVENT SYNOPSIS

THIRTY YEARS have passed in the lands of Interphaze while our heroes have been away in the realm of the Fae. Though their war against the Red Knight was won, the heroes must now reckon with the cost. Much of the Kingdom lies in ruin, or has been overrun with monsters and bandits.

The Kingdom has imposed a policy of RESTRICTED MAGIC, requiring all who seek to wield Arcane or even Holy power to gain a LICENSE from the Crown. Though unpopular with many, this measure has served to keep the Kingdom safe from those who would take advantage of its weakened state.

Our heroes emerge from the lands of Fae on the doorstep of EBONCLOAK MANOR. This amoral family serves as one of the biggest reasons for licensed magic, and looks to rebuild its once vast magical merchant trade in a realm that is locked down and on the brink of toppling.

Dinnerphaze – Save the Date!

Ready for our end of season wrap up and social get together? We are!

Join us on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 27 at 4:00 PM. More details to follow.

What is Dinnerphaze?

If you’re new or newer to Interphaze, maybe you’ve never been to our end of season wrap up party. We meet at a restaurant (usually Davanni’s or something comparably priced) and recount the stories of the past year, talk about things we’d like to see for next year, get caught up on Phaze News and goings-on, and kick back with our geeky buddies.

I hope to see you there. Keep OCTOBER 27 free on your calendar. 4 PM.
