NPCs Wanted

WANTED: A few good NPCs.
We are considering a Fall adventure lineup structured around maximum playtime for each participant to fully enjoy and experience the new Medford site. We can pull this off if we get a dedicated group of NPCs for the event. We're looking for approximately 10 people to NPC all weekend long, to provide a full-time play experience for other participants. Email, reply to this post, or PM Ben on the boards if you are interested. Because of our writing deadlines, we need to make a decision in one week, so the deadline to express interest is the end of next Friday (July 6).

What benefits will we get if we do so? Will we get levels to our current character? Special Items? Will we get meals provided for us?

I'd much rather Play Jal, but if I got some levels out of the deal...

my Question too. I'm interested but i'd like to know if my current character would gain levels or not.

My gut reaction is to say yes you could apply the levels to your current character. I will check with the others but that is at least how I feel it should work.

As to any other extras, well I can at least promise hugs.

If I get levels I'd be fine being an NPC for the upcoming phaze. If I don't get levels then probably not.

A quick update:

So far 4 people have expressed interest in NPCing the entirety of the weekend. To those 4: Thanks, and there will be an update on Saturday to let you know if we will go this route or not.

To others: If you've ever had friends or relatives who have been curious about Phaze, NPCing the entire weekend is a great way to get introduced!

A final update on the permanent NPC concept:

There was not enough interest to pursue using a small batch of NPCs all weekend to allow the rest of the group to play through, so we will be structuring this like normal (all will play 1/2 the time and NPC the other half).

But, if you had expressed interest in NPCing the entire weekend, and still would like to do so, please send me a follow-up PM, and we will work our encounter writing to suit.
